Forgotten Places Photography

So I realized after setting up my site that I have not really shared anything about myself.

I am a mother of 3 with a loving and supportive husband who puts up with me being

either gone taking pictures or doing investigations as a Team Lead with a local

paranormal group WSPIR. I never have taken any classes in photography but

just found a love for it. ( so if you do not like my pictures  I am sorry:-) )

It is kind of sad how this all came about. My grandmother had passed away and I was

 a mess for a long time.

My husband had bought me a camera to go to Montana with and before I went on my

trip one day, I told my daughter to grab her dress that she used in my nieces wedding and to

 come with me. I started to take pictures of her with different head stones and what came

out of it is in the link " The Forgotten".

So actually My grandmothers passing and my trying to find sense out of all of it is how 

I became so interested in taking pictures.

It is kind of like a release for me and I love doing it any chance I get. I guess I am just

facinated with the way you can take a picture and it can have a history or a story behind it.

I love taking pictures of old buildings and cemetaries. I love to do historical photography,

 urban exploration photography and still life photos.

I have used a Pentax optio E-10 6.1 mega pix and now have a Nikon D80 10.2mega pix with

wide angle, IR and  Macro. I have the Nikon P80 that I use as my mini me camera.

 

*I also will not disclose where locations are if they are private and I have been asked to

keep the location hidden.*

The rule I live buy is  " Take only pictures...Leave only footprints"

Locations that have been disclosed are still functioning facilities and I have gotten

permission to display their location.

RTotten/ ForgottenPlacesPhotography will not be held liable for anyone tresspassing at

any of the locations I have posted on my website. I have either received permission or

the location is open to the public.

 No Tresspassing means just that.

I am willing to give you any information to help get you to a location legaly and without

getting arrested.
