Forgotten Places Photography

Tokeland Hotel

Established in 1885 The Tokeland Hotel still stands with its original exterior and fantastic view of the

ocean and wonderful decor from years past. Each room is decorated in period fashion and is

warm  and welcoming.

I have had the pleasure of photographing this fantastic location not once but twice and the owner has

found a spot on the Hotel's wall for my infrared photo I took in 2007. The photos posted will be

from 2007-2010.

The Tokeland Hotel is in the process of getting updated with paint on the interior and exterior

which looks fantastic.  Besides having the best hospitality their food is amazing as well, so if you

happen to be in the Westport area it is only about 15 miles to Tokeland which is worth a stop

if not for the night at least for breakfast lunch or dinner.

I have a link to there website HERE
